Alice Peto is a London based artist and illustrator, known for her whimsical illustrations. She works entirely by hand, mainly in watercolour, and sells her original paintings in antique frames both on Instagram and through the Lacy Gallery on Westbourne Grove.
Notably, in 2019, one of Alice’s illustrations was presented by Her Majesty The Queen at Windsor Castle, a testament to the calibre of Alice’s art.
Alice paints everyday in her studio, regularly selling on Instagram her originals and sending them worldwide - she starts with an antique frame and paints what inspires her.
In addition, Alice regularly works with commercial clients, lending her artistic sensibility to the enhancement of their brand identity, creating captivating website illustrations, and designing clothing labels, packaging and logos, elevating the visual narrative of businesses and products. Alice’s West London studio is a hive of activity; her mother and grandmother were artists too, and she hopes that one of her daughters will follow suit.
Currently Alice is not taking on any private commissions as she is working towards her solo London show.
